FUSION POINTE LAUNCHES IN SOUTHWEST FLORIDA
Meet The New Nonprofit Focused On Igniting Entrepreneurial Growth
The community is invited to learn more about the potential impact game-changing technologies and new business formation can have at the Fusion Pointe Kickoff, Investor Ready: Developing an Entrepreneurial Ecosystem on Monday, November 18, 5-7:15pm at the Naples Hilton (5111 Tamiami Trail N, Naples, FL 34103). Fusion Pointe (www.fusionpointe.org), formerly the Gulf Coast Venture Forum, is a new venture development organization focused on encouraging, accelerating and expanding the region’s innovation economy. The nonprofit is in the process of building its resources and partnerships so that it can begin providing a combination of capital and high-impact technical assistance to promising young startups in Southwest Florida.
Fusion Pointe’s inaugural high-growth entrepreneurship event features a keynote address by Scott Relf, founder of Infinite Growth Group, an innovation consulting firm, and co-founder of Zave Networks, which sold to Google in 2006. Also speaking is John Gamba, a nationally recognized serial entrepreneur in the Education Technology sector with a passion for disruptive ideas and transformation. He is being joined by Angelo Biasi, founder and CEO of MassiveU, a Southwest Florida early stage education technology company that the Tamiami Angel Fund I has supported by coordinating mentorship from John Gamba and investment capital from its Fund.
Tickets for the Fusion Pointe Kickoff are $35 and can be purchased www.FusionPointe.org
